Outside Conwy Police Station

2014 Honey Fair

No Busses or HGV's could go through Conwy for nearly an hour because a couple of idiots parked their car on double yellow lines opposite a road sign thereby making the road too narrow for large vehicles to pass.  Two PCSO's turned up but couldn't issue a ticket as they do not have the authority. There was a "Blue Badge" in the car windscreen but lowly PCSO's can't check if it belonged to either of them of someone else.

Inconsiderate Parking Problems

Every day there are examples of inconsiderate parking such as in Bus Stops, across Dropped Kerbs and on pavements thereby making it difficult if not impossible for disabled people to live an independent life.

Busses have CCTV cameras on board, so why will the Police not accept this evidence and prosecute the drivers?

Conwy County Voluntary Access Group
We were established in 1991 and are members of Disability Wales and Conwy Voluntary Services Council.

Our group is totally independent of the local authority and we are 100% self funded and run by disabled volunteers.

The aim of our group is to promote equal access for everyone, not just physically disabled people, but also people with prams/buggies, and those with sensory impairments (sight and hearing).

We work with Conwy County Borough Council and local town councils, plus the likes of Network Rail and local organisations.

We meet at 2pm on the third Tuesday of every month
(other than August and December) at Mochdre Sports Association.
The postcode for "Sat Nav" users is: LL28 5HB
